Reducing the burden of cancer in Iowa requires collaboration and commitment from organizations and individuals with a variety of skills and backgrounds. The Iowa Cancer Consortium (ICC) was formed in 2001 and became a 501(c)3 nonprofit corporation in August 2009 and is funded by the Iowa Department of Public Health. Over 300 individuals are involved with the consortium and represent 195 different partners.
