Haloacetic acid-9 (HAA9)

A group of similar chemicals formed during disinfection drinking water with chlorine and chloramine. HAA9 includes: monochloroacetic acid, dichloroacetic acid, trichloroacetic acid, monobromoacetic acid, dibromoacetic acid, bromochloroacetic acid, bromodichloroacetic acid, chlorodibromoacetic acid, and tribromoacetic acid.
