The results are out for the 2010 Iowa Child and Family Household Health Survey: Adolescent Health in Iowa Brief (IHHS). The IHHS is a collaborative effort of the Iowa Department of Public Health, the University of Iowa Public Policy Center, and the Iowa Child Health Specialty Clinics to study the health and well being of children and families in the state.
This policy brief provides statewide results about a sample of issues related to the health of adolescents ages 10-17 years in Iowa, and that of their parents. Many noteworthy statistics can also be found in the tables accompanying this report. The findings provide important information to policy makers, health care consumers, health care providers and anyone interested in the health and well-being of children and families across the state.
