Qualifies for

• Be responsible for conducting lead abatement projects according to IDPH rules and regulations as either an abatement contractor or abatement worker.
• To maintain current status all abatement professionals must take an 8hr abatement refresher every 3 years.
• This "updated" abatement refresher course also trains workers and contractors in renovation so that the 4-hr Lead Safe Renovator Refresher Course is not required.

This course reviews required work practices and regulations for lead abatement professionals. All lead professionals must submit an application for individual and firm certification with a $60.00 fee annually.
