Who We Are

The bureau administers programs and grants in partnership with a variety of community-based agencies and organizations. The bureau collaborates with other department programs and initiatives to improve the health of Iowans.

Programs administered within the Bureau of Nutrition and Health Promotion include: the Iowa Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children, the Iowa Nutrition Network, Iowans Fit For Life and Iowa Community Transformation Grant.
