At this time the state of Iowa is not recognizing reciprocity with any other states. A committee was created by the Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Examining Board to research options for reciprocal agreements with other states. However, the Board has not finalized testing procedures and continuing education requirements and has placed the development of reciprocity criteria on hold at this time. The Board continues to welcome inquires and information about reciprocity and will update this information as soon as possible.
