On April 26, 2013, the Iowa Legislature enacted Senate File 427 (SF427). The bill contained several significant changes to the licensing program which will be implemented in stages throughout the next 3 years.
All licensees holding a valid Iowa Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board license with an expiration date of January 1, 2014 to June 29, 2014 will receive a one-time extension to June 30, 2014.
Wall certificates and wallet cards will NOT be reissued for the extension period. Licensees whose renewal falls within this time frame will receive a letter 60 days prior to their current expiration date advising them of their extension.
Please continue to monitor our web site at www.idph.state.ia.us/PMSB for announcements on the changes as the details are developed. To view updated information and a complete version of the Iowa Administrative Code rules and Iowa Code 105, go to the web site and click on the link labeled Iowa Code.
PLEASE NOTE: For applicants with an Iowa Plumbing and Mechanical Systems Board license that is expired by more than 365 days, please complete and submit the paper application below with the appropriate fees. These are the only renewal applications being accepted at this time.
