Where to get your flu vaccination

Local public health departments in Iowa have received limited amounts of 2009 (H1N1) influenza vaccine. Although there is currently not enough vaccine available for widespread use, these initial shipments will expand in the coming weeks.

Initial H1N1 vaccinations will be made available for these priority groups:

  • Pregnant women
  • Household contacts and caregivers for children younger than 6 months of age
  • Health care and emergency medical services personnel
  • All people from 6 months through 24 years of age
  • Persons aged 25 through 64 years who have health conditions associated with higher risk of medical complications from influenza.  More >>

There are two ways to view information about a county.

1. Use the drop-down list to select a county then click the "Go" button.

2. Click the county on the map.

The information will be displayed in a new window.
