Disability and Health Program
This project is a partnership with Iowa State University’s Universal Design Lab and the University of Iowa's Program for Assistive Technology.
- An online “idea” notebook was created to illustrate home modifications for accessibility.
- Stories include “before” and “after” photographs and floor plans of the accessibility improvements.
- A Web-conferencing curriculum is in development that will offer training on no-step entrances and low-cost alternatives to ramps for landscapers, designers, architects, builders and homeowners.
