The 2006 Consensus Guidelines for the Management of Women with Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia or Adenocarcinoma in situ were published in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology (2007: 197(4): 346-355).
Algorithms for the guidelines have been published in the October 2007 issue of the ASCCP's Journal of Lower Genital Tract Disease and are available in PDF format on this same website.
Clinical Breast Examination: Practical Recommendations for Optimizing Performance and Reporting
This is a report found in the American Cancer Society's CA: A Cancer Journal for Clinicians that provides a brief review of evidence for clinical breast examination's (CBE's) role in the earlier detection of breast cancer, highlights current practice issues, and presents recommendations that, when implemented, could contribute to greater standardization of the practice and reporting of CBE.
Smoking Cessation Clinic Fax Referral Program
Quitline Iowa is supported by Iowa Department of Public Health (IDPH) Division of Tobacco Use Prevention and Control. The Quitline fax referral program gives health care practitioners a quick and easy method for referring their patients who smoke to effective cessation services. All services provided by the Quitline are free to Iowans whether or not covered by a health plan.
