Stereotactic Biopsy

Stereotactic Breast Biopsy is regulated by the IDPH Mammography Program. Nationwide, there are no federal rules in place for Stereotactic Breast Biopsy.

State of Iowa's Stereotactic Breast Biopsy rules are similar to requirements of the voluntary accreditation programs offered by the American College of Radiology and the American College of Surgeons.

If you or your facility will be providing Stereotactic Breast Biopsy services within Iowa, you must adhere to the Iowa Administrative Code Stereotactic Breast Biopsy Rules.
