Swimming Pools & Spas

The Swimming Pool/Spa Program is responsible for:

1. Registering all regulated swimming pools and spas in Iowa.
2. Providing technical support, training, and general oversight to local agencies that have been delegated the responsibility for inspection of pool/spa facilities and enforcement of the rules.
3. Review of plans for new and reconstructed swimming pool and spa facilities, and initial inspection of new and reconstructed facilities.
