The Congenital and Inherited Disorders Advisory Committee (CIDAC) represents the interests of Iowans and assists in developing programs that ensure the availability of and access to quality genetic health-care services by all residents. The CIDAC advises the director of the Iowa Department of Public Health regarding genetics and hereditary and congenital disorders and makes recommendations about the design and implementation of the Center for Congenital and Inherited Disorders programs. Committee membership is made up of representatives of professional groups, agencies, legislators, consumers, and individuals with an interest in promoting genetic services.
Meeting Schedule
