Preferences are lists that appear throughout the IRIS application that make data entry easier.

1. From the Admin menu list, select Preferences, then Physician List.
The Physician List contains the name and title of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants that are practicing in the user's area.
The Physician List should contain any Primary Care Physician's that are participating at your clinic.
2. Select the county name of the address given when license was last renewed from the drop-down list.
3. Click on the Filter button to see a list of physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants for that county and state.
The window on the left is an alphabetized list of the physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants who practice in the selected county. To locate their name, click on the alphabet index tabs and scroll the list.
There are three ways to move names to the physician list:- Click and drag a name from the left window and drop it on the list to the right
- Select the name on the left then click on the right arrow button
- Double-click the name on the left
To remove names from the physician list, reverse the move process described above.
The Physician List can be ordered to your preference by selecting a name then use the "Order List" arrow buttons in the middle of the screen to place the name where you want it.
4. When you have added all of the physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants and they have been put in selected order, click on the Next button to proceed to the summary screen.

The second screen of the Physician List Wizard will appear.
This screen lists the changes that will be saved when the Finish button is clicked.
If changes need to be made, you can click on the Previous button to return to the selection screen.
