Security and confidentiality are major issues concerning substance abuse treatment providers. HIPPA guidelines strive to address these issues. The I-SMART System and the core elements derived from the WITS System, work with HIPPA and other federal regulations to allow state agencies and their providers to focus on the management and monitoring of treatment plans.
The I-SMART infrastructure ensures authorized-only access to the application and maintains client confidentiality and data integrity.
